Nigeria Protests: Tinubu Says Demonstrations Meant to Undermine the Government

The protests that took place in Nigeria last week and that lead to the deaths of at least 21 people had a political agenda and were meant to undermine the government, Nigerian President Bola Tinubu said in his first public speech since the demonstrations began. Tinubu called for a suspension of the protests and for those taking part to embrace dialog. Bloomberg's Jennifer Zabasajja reports.
